      Shortcut Keys

      Some people prefer a keyboard shortcut to clicking a mouse...here are some shortcuts you can use in EZClaim!

      Here are some helpful shortcuts to make your data entry even easier! 

      Keystroke Field Action
      t most date fields populates today's date
      y most date fields populates yesterday's date
      b or + payment entry window populates balance in payment amount field
      F1 any screen opens the help file
      F2 any screen creates a patient
      F3 any screen creates a patient from a template
      F4 any screen opens the Find Patient grid
      F5 any screen opens the Find Claim grid
      F11 any screen shuts the program down
      Ctrl Alt R   resets the 'do not ask me again' message box options
      Ctrl Alt O   opens the company file list
      Ctrl Alt S Report Panel opens the report screen
      Ctrl Alt U   clears user locks
      Ctrl + Patient Screen jump to a new patient note
      Ctrl - Patient Screen shrink the patient notes panel
      Ctrl (Click) Payer Library Icon, Physician Facility Library Icon opens Find and Replace, admin password will be required to complete action
