      Printer Adjustment

      Printer Adjustment Overview

      Note: Printer adjustment is only required if you are using pre-printed red CMS 1500 forms. 

      If you are billing electronically or EZClaim is printing the black-and-white form for you, no printer adjustment is required.

      Access Printer Adjustment Options

      You have two options for accessing the Printer Adjustment Options

      1. Navigate to Tools → Program Setup and ensure that Printing Claims is highlighted in the options menu. 
      2. Click the drop-down arrow under the Print button and select Printer Adjustment

      EZClaim will work with any printer that works with Windows Vista (or newer).

      Tip: After setting printer values you must click on Save to set the values

      • Load your printer with CMS-1500 forms
      • Click the Print Test Page button

      Tip: EZClaim suggests re-feeding the same page through your printer as needed to better gauge your progress.


      • Following the Printer Adjustment steps, change values until the X is positioned in the center of the Medicare check box at the top of the CMS-1500 form
      • When the adjustment is correct, click on Save
