What's the difference between a void and a refund with EZClaimPay? Find out below, and see the few simple steps to complete the transaction.
- Voiding a transaction occurs when a payment is canceled on the same day as the payment was made.
- When a transaction is voided, you will observe a transaction with the identical Ref #1 as the original payment
- Refunding a transaction occurs when a payment is canceled on a different day than the original payment was made.
- In the case of a refund, you will observe a transaction with a distinct and unique Ref #1
EZClaimPay also allows you to complete a partial refund to the credit card that was originally charged. You do not need to have the card in front of you to complete this transaction!
This feature is available in version 673 and above
