      HL7 2.3.1 Duplicate Checking

      Information about the duplicate checking process for HL7 2.3.1 Imports

      During the processing of HL7-based interface data, EZClaim diligently examines the company file for any existing services that have been documented.

      To prevent the import of duplicate services, EZClaim takes necessary measures.

      Any incoming service lines are regarded as duplicates if they meet the following set of criteria:

      • Patient information
      • Procedure code
      • Product code
      • Service 'From' date
      • All modifiers
      • Rendering provider
      • Referring provider
