      Background

      EZClaim's API is a powerful REST API hosted on Azure that offers a wide range of endpoints to support CRUD operations on various data objects, such as patients, claims, service lines, payments, physicians, and more.

      Moreover, we provide webhooks that enable you to receive real-time notifications for specific events happening within the EZClaim application.

      Access

      In order to access the API, it is necessary to have EZClaim version 689 or higher and a unique token associated with a single EZClaim database (also known as a Company File).

      This token, along with its corresponding scopes, is generated within the EZClaim application.

      To create the token:

      1. Click on Tools
      2. Click on API Access Tokens (you must have the admin password) and then click New Token
      3. Enter a name and expiration date for the token and select the scopes you will use, then click Save
      4. Be sure to save the token when it's generated
      5. Once it's generated, EZClaim will configure your account with the API
        1. Usually, this happens within an hour, but it may not be until the next business day
      6. We will email you to let you know when your account is ready to begin interacting with the API

      Please also see this document for a list of all endpoints as well as examples of what needs to be encrypted to get to that endpoint.

      For added security and convenience, we have implemented advanced encryption on the API.

      To help you interact with the API, we have also developed a C# Helper program that includes real-world examples.
