How to check eligibility in EZClaim
Checking Eligibility
Click the Check button to start the process.
EZClaim then connects to the clearinghouse to send the required data. The Check Eligibility button is also available in the Find Patient screen (using the Column Chooser) and from the patient Quick Access Tab as an additional column.
Note: Taxonomy codes will now be included when making eligibility inquiries to Payer ID 00571
A typical response will look like this:
Once the OK button has been clicked, the program will show the Active status in green and display the eligibility verification date.
