Company File Transfer

Need to transfer a Company File from one EZClaim account to another

Due to security concerns, EZClaim is not able to transfer a company file directly to another person. This must be done by the owner of the account following the steps below.

Steps for you, the current company file account owner:

  1. Have the current account owner fill out an Account Change Form and request a backup of the specific Company File you would like to transfer.
    • We will deactivate the company file on your account after sending the backup, please indicate if you need this company to remain active. 
  2. EZClaim will send you a link to the backup of your Company File (EZClaim utilizes Sharefile to securely transfer files).
  3. Forward the link to the new company file owner.

Note: This .bak file is not human-readable. You will not be able to open it

Steps for the new company file account owner:

  1. Forward the Sharefile email to support@ezclaim.com so an EZClaim support representative can restore the data to the new account.
